Hey friend,
I hope you enjoyed the refreshing herbal face steam from last week's DIY Beauty Tips installment! Today, I'm thrilled to share another one of my favorite at-home spa treatments: Citrus Bath Salts.
There's nothing quite like a luxurious soak in the tub to unwind and pamper yourself after a long day. These citrus-infused bath salts not only help relax tired muscles but also leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and rejuvenated.
Here's how to make your own citrus bath salts:
Ingredients:
1 cup Epsom salt
1/2 cup sea salt
Zest of one lemon
Zest of one orange
10-15 drops of essential oil (such as lemon, orange, or grapefruit)
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the Epsom salt and sea salt.
Add the lemon and orange zest to the salts and mix well to distribute evenly.
Slowly add the essential oil drops, stirring continuously until the scent is evenly distributed.
Transfer the mixture to a clean, airtight container for storage.
To use your citrus bath salts, simply add a handful to warm bathwater and allow them to dissolve completely. Then, sink into the fragrant water and let the stresses of the day melt away.
Indulge in this citrus-infused bath experience whenever you need a little self-care boost. Your skin will thank you for the nourishing minerals, while the uplifting scent of citrus will invigorate your senses.
Stay tuned for next week's tip, where I'll be sharing another delightful DIY beauty secret to enhance your self-care routine!
Wishing you blissful moments of relaxation
